Nutmeg’s founder, Ann Goodwin has always been passionate about food.  Spending holidays with her grandparents in Antwerp, Belgium, she fondly remembers being taken to the local markets with her father to choose and taste all they had to offer and those evocative smells  still remain a treasured memory. The freshness and  quality of local produce being the key stones to their way of life and their cooking.

Her two sons, Jonnie and Michael, share her enthusiasm and constantly provide valuable and constuctive input.

Today the team at Nutmeg Fine Foods, under Ann’s leadership, continue to offer delicious home-made food for event catering, picnics or for the freezer.  In addition to which there are now home-made jams, chutneys and edible treats available to buy separately or in presentation boxes or hampers.  All our food is cooked from scratch, in the traditional way.

Ann maintains “cooking for friends and family with good, wholesome food and fresh ingredients is fun and eating together even more so.”  This is now even easier and far less stressful with Nutmeg Fine Foods to do the cooking for you.
